Corporate America has changed dramatically. Today's leaders must be able to connect with, respect, and show value to associates amidst challenges like intense time pressures and limited resources. There is a need for a new type of leadership. Heart-Centered Leadership (HCL) - characterized by care, concern, warmth, honesty and humility - is not a "soft" skill but a "dollars & cents" one. Adopt the principles of HCL and you'll boost profitability by:
Motivating employees to go the extra mile
Creating a workplace that attracts - and keeps - the best and brightest
Developing a strong, innovative, resourceful bench
Keeping clients and customers satisfied and coming back for more
Inspiring others in your organization to exhibit heart-centered behavior thus increasing the benefits of such leadership exponentially
Workshops are available as half-day and full-day sessions. Brief presentations outlining the basic principles of HCL are available.
This series consists of six (6) three hour modules designed to help individuals become more effective in their lives at work and at home. The modules are: (1) The Foundation, (2) Interpersonal Skills, (3) Leadership Skills, (4) Teambuilding, (5) Coaching, and (6) a Review. These modules are designed as building blocks and are presented in the order listed. The series can be presented in a two and one-half day session or over a longer period of time in half-day sessions.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
MBTI is the most widely used personality inventory in the world. MBTI allows people to understand their personality preferences, particularly with respect to information gathering, decision making, and life style work patterns. MBTI is an indispensable tool for pulling work teams together and creating a better understanding of how to utilize individual strengths. This one-half day seminar introduces participants to the MBTI.
Teambuilding
Teambuilding is the process by which a group of people are encouraged to learn about themselves, others, and their leader(s) and how these components fit together to maximize team success. This one-day seminar uses the MBTI as a means to create a more effective team, resulting in accomplishing goals set by organizations.
Developing a Personal Mission Statement
Discover what is important! Life pulls us in many different directions, and the decisions we make directly impact those we care about. This one-half day seminar gives participants an opportunity to reflect on what is most important. Participants will have an opportunity to develop a personal mission statement. Just as a mission statement gives direction in the business world, a personal mission statement gives direction for each participant when making professional and personal decisions.
Group Facilitation
Retreats (work sessions) are times set aside for members of organizations to focus on the future. It is valuable time spent away from the daily grind in an environment where important decisions can be made without interruption. Time spent in these work sessions help obtain insight into where a business organization has been and where it's going. A facilitator can: 1) help the group decide on goals and objectives, 2) develop a process for the retreat, 3) assist in setting a realistic agenda, 4) help establish clear roles for the participants, 5) keep the group on track, 6) openly and constructively discuss conflicts that may arise, and 7) assist with logistics.
